Sultana Education Foundation's new Harland Nature Center at the Lawrence Wetlands Preserve is an exciting project that has been in the works since just before the COVID Pandemic. The building will facilitate Sultana's outdoor education classes and is designed to be used all year round, though during the warmer months, the glass overhead (roll-up) doors will allow the building to be mostly "open" to the Loblolly Pines and pond beyond. The large expansive deck, designed to terminate at the drip-line of the Loblolly's, will serve as an outdoor classroom when weather allows. The building is currently under construction and is anticipated to be completed in October of this year (2023)
